Refund Policy

We want StoryLens to be useful for you. If it isn't, here's how refunds and cancellations work.

Console One Inc (“Console One,” “we,” “us”) is an Ontario corporation. Payments for StoryLens are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited (“Paddle”), which acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions. Refunds are issued by Paddle on our behalf in accordance with this policy.

1. Individual Tier and Beta

Individual tier and beta features are not charged, so refunds do not apply.

2. Team Subscriptions

Team subscriptions are billed as a flat monthly or annual fee per organization, covering the included seat allowance described on the pricing page.

You may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase, no questions asked. This 14-day window also satisfies the statutory cooling-off period for customers in the EU and UK under applicable consumer protection law.

After 14 days, monthly subscriptions fall outside the standard refund window and are subject to Paddle's discretionary refund process. You can cancel at any time to prevent future charges.

For annual subscriptions, refunds requested within 14 days of initial purchase are issued for the full amount paid. Refunds at annual renewal are issued only where required by applicable law (e.g., UK consumer protection law).

Seats can be added or removed through your admin dashboard at any time, subject to the seat limits of your tier.

3. Enterprise

Enterprise customers contract with Console One Inc directly, outside of Paddle. Refund and cancellation terms for Enterprise are set in your individual order form or master service agreement.

4. How to Request a Refund

Email refunds@storylens.one with:

  • The email address associated with your account
  • The subscription tier and approximate purchase date
  • A brief reason (optional but appreciated)

Approved refunds are processed by Paddle in accordance with Paddle's Refund Policy. Processing times depend on your bank or card issuer. Refunds are issued in the original currency of the transaction.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues through the end of the current billing period unless a refund is approved.

6. Billing Disputes and Chargebacks

If you have a billing dispute, please contact us at refunds@storylens.one before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. We respond promptly and prefer to resolve disputes directly.
